Awwww.....come
on....Pagans for the most part are a witty bunch...and we do need a
place to be nonsensical now and again....i guess that is what makes
us all a bit ...'warped' ....that's it!!!!! we were all woven a bit
too loosely....(for those who do not know...the warp and weft are the
different parts of the weave of a fabric...i think i have the names right)

Well, I have
hemmed and hawed here on how to enter this conversation
seamlessly...but I can't seem to find a way to needle you guys. My
only contact with cloth is through wearing or sitting on...I can
barely baste a turkey, nevermind fabric. I hold those of you who can
weave this mysterious magick in great awe, however. I suppose the
silver lining here is that I do rather worship velvet and silk..and
have a deep and abiding love of cotton, my tastes never zig-zag. I do
have a very dear friend who would qualify for membership here... but
he will not post because he thinks you would reject him...you see, he
truly believes that latex is a fabric. Is there any hope for him?

Is it just me, or
have others noticed the alarming regularity of double knit polyster
that seems to be appearing in life lately?
To protect myself,
all I can do is to wave my seam guide in the air and ask the Goddess
of Fabricia for guidance....after all, we are all thrown a few
insertable shoulder pads every now and again, yes?
Blessings in the
name of the Goddess Crepeina,

is a bit amazed at the gems of wisdom contained in this folder! <g>

Hail, fellow
Fabricites! We here in PA have what we call the Order of the Craft of
the Ribbon... and we call forth the wrath of our fellow fabricites on
a certain plain clothes security guard who will not allow us to
rescue the sacred strands of fiber from a dumpster where the
unbelievers are throwing it! Ribbons, Lame, Satin (!) Silk, HUGE
sheets of all kinds of tapestry and upholstery.. in an UNLOCKED
dumpster WITH NO DIRTY DIAPERS OR BEER SPILLED ON TOP! We ask our
fellow Fabricites of all orders to call forth the wrath of Clotho on
these imbicilles and restore the keepers of the UrbanRefuse the right
to pick and choose!!!!!! Next time you are doing your rituals,
remember this indigity!
Hail Clotho!

Hail, fellow Fabricites!
We here at the
Craft of the Ribbon have a very serious concern about discrimination
against certian fabricite cults. Latex, for example. Is Latex
actually a fabrick? Is it appropriate for fabricites to worship at
the feet of Rubberia? Are women in uniform really sexier??
And what about
Leather? Is it wrong for Fabricites to also be Leatherspiritus? Is
this sick, politically incorrect? Should the Leatherspiritus be
allowed to discuss their practices in their own folder, or should
they be forced to justify themselves to the Council of Natural Fibers
Protection Agency, and we all know who THEY work for......
What about the
abuses of silk? Many are using silk in the Latex and Leatherspiritus
cults for their minor rituals... should this be banned?
Why can't we all
just get along? I'm SEW Concerned!

Subj: Abomination
Date: 97-10-19
19:03:56 EDT
From: CatEyeMoon
With great
Subtlety, they crept in among the People . . . encased in white
plastic eggs as though born of nature, the Abominations appeared . . .
By lies were we
seduced unto Welcoming them . . . embracing them as Liberators, we
became Enslaved . . .
The Evil was upon
us . . . Pantihose!
Revile me not for
speaking the name of the Abomination within the Sanctuary!
How can I remain
silent when even now there are those among us still held in bondage?
Even now there be those who wear upon their very flesh the Unholy
Spawn born of the coupling of Nylon and Elastic, yea, even whilst
adorned with the Holiest of Silks and Satins and Velvets!
Dear Ones, it must
not be.
Judge them not!
Who among us has not fallen? Who among us was not deceived?
Pray for them,
that they might be delivered from the yoke of the Unholy Ones.
Go forth and bear
witness to the pleasures of sliding the Sacred Silken Sheath upon Thy
leg! The myriad delights of Seamed and Unseamed, Cuban Heeled or Plain!
Go forth and teach
unto the People the sacredness of the Holy Fabrics upon thy flesh,
from the merest whisper of a Silken Belt around Thy waist to the
sensuous embrace of the Satin Bustier!
Bring to their
rememberance that such were worn by Olde Ones in the days before the
coming of the Great Beast Syntheticus and the Demons Lycrazelbub,
Polymodeus and Spandexia to trouble the Earth.
O ye of little faith!
Hear my words and
take heed: Rebuke them! Cast forth the Abomination from thy midst
lest ye be tempted to worse evil.
For verily, I say
unto you: greater Horrors there be, lurking ever in the shadows,
lying in wait to snare the Unwary and the Unwise. . .

Order Of Silken Toes

Greetings and
Salutations from the Ordo Templi Stiletto,
It has come
to our attention that there may be some confusion as to whether Latex
is a sanctioned Temple Fabric or the gateway to the Left Handed
Catwalk. The offical position of the Temple of Pleasant Fabric is
thus: Honey, if you can work it like a goddess...... why not? Fear
not, there has never been a case of any disciple in her/his right
mind trying to pass off the evil doubleknit polyester as a viable
alternative fabric on your next Chanel Suit. You must follow your
heart when it comes to dabbling in synthetics. Let us thank the gods
of Latex for manufacturing their particular "fabric" in
those delightful six inch sheaths that make wearing that sassy
leather miniskirt still dangerous, yet not life threatening. Do give
the pharmacist our best =)
However,
the Guardians of the Secret Order of Shoes and Accessories would like
to point out that the most delightful use of Latex this season,
currently adorning the feet of this author in fact, is the black
latex go-go boot. Definitely NOT for the neophyte.
P.S. Hooray for
the treatise on that foul fiend, pantihose.........smite it, smite it
I say!!!!!!!!

When choosing or
wearing patterned stockings, one must meditate greatly and finally
ask your Inner Self: Are these things chic, or merely a cry for help?
And where does the
Shroud of Turin fit into all this? Yet another early attempt to
assimilate our Ancient Traditions into mainstream religion? First
Yule and now this.
